Writing a blog can be a lonely experience if you are an extrovert who appreciates (and requires) the interaction that occurs during a normal conversation. You pour out your ideas and experiences to a keyboard, wondering if anyone even remotely cares about them, and feel quite excited when someone takes the time to make a comment (they like me, they really do!). Then, one day, you come across a website that offers you an opportunity to build your ego (TopMomma.com) and you feel like a star. Hence the 5 seconds of fame.
Yesterday marked our 6th second of fame … when one of the authors of Consumerist.com somehow found out about our Acme Humble Pie post, so yesterday we had 311 hits and today we had 374! How exciting! Welcome, new readers … watch for another great customer service experience that we’re going to post in the next couple of days.

That is so cool!! I think you do a fantastic job of the blog and I love catching up. I really get a sense of you through it, which is refreshing when we are miles apart. It is a delight everytime I read it. I am just waiting for the pictures of the big B-day to be posted. hint hint nudge nudge.
