Yesterday we “graduated” from the Baby Talk sessions put on by the Health Unit – they’re going to start repeating all the topics we’ve already heard. So, I’m going to start “Toddler Talk” – a group for parents who want to continue these weekly get-togethers. It won’t be anything fancy – just a chance to sit and chat with other new mums about the issues affecting us and maybe go for a walk. Being a WAHM (work at home mum), it’s important that I build these networks so I don’t get too isolated. Especially because Patrick will be going back to work in about 6 weeks.
Nicholas took his first steps. He loves to hold our hands and bounce, but I suddenly realized he was actually picking up his foot and moving it forward. He took 4 steps. So, any bets on whether he’ll walk before he crawls?
Elaine and Angela stayed over last night – this was their last visit until the summer and we’re really going to miss them!
