Mum and I took Nicholas up to UBC to participate in a study this morning. It had something to do with probability – I always forget the long explanation of what the studies are … I just know that we’re helping somebody learn or prove something and it’s a fun outing for us, although a really long trip (especially during the Cambie Line construction). Anyways, he was going to be watching some ping pong balls, so the student showed them to Nicholas and let him touch them to understand what they were. He promptly tasted one … and then popped it right in his mouth! The student’s eyes were super wide when she turned to me and said, “none of the babies have every done that before!” Poor thing, she really wasn’t sure what to do. Luckily, it popped back out quite easily and she continued on with the study … gotta feed my kid more often, obviously!
